CPhI 2014 PARIS

The Institute of Molecular and Translational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of Palacky University (IMTM) attended the CPhI 2014 exhibition in Paris held on October 5.-9.,2014. More than 30 000 people from over 130 countries   visited the CPhI exhibition 2014. More than 2500 exhibitors and key players represented all steps in pharma industry from drug discovery to finished dosage. With four different exhibitions (CPhI, P-MEC, InnoPack and ICSE) the event has become the one of the biggest event in pharma world located in Europe. The Czech Republic was officially represented by the agency Czech Trade but there were also several Czech companies, which decided to exhibit by their selves.  IMTM was presented as  part of exhibion stand organized by the Cluster of Medicinal Chemistry and Biochemistry (MedChemBio) and shared a stand with IOCB TTO, Ltd. and Apigenex ltd. in CRO zone, which has been dedicated for people interested in contract or collaborative research. Products, Services and Technologies which are offered for licensing by the IMTM were presented during personal meetings for about 15 foreign companies from Japan, Germany, Italy, Turkey or India. With substantial help of Ms. Hana Chlebná from agency Czech Invest IMTM had a chance to participate in meeting with Japanese Investment Company in biotech fields MITSUI which has accepted invitation IMTM to Olomouc. IMTM was represented by Ms. Linda Lososová – Tech Transfer Manager and  Mr. Peter Vanek- marketing manager.
